Escolas não escapam da guerra na Vila Cruzeiro (RJ)

Segundo moradores, é comum encontrar marcas de tiros de fuzil nos muros das escolas.
Escolas e creches estão fechadas desde o início dos confrontos.

Crianças estão sem aulas há mais de 50 dias na favela Vila Cruzeiro, na Penha, no subúrbio do Rio, desde o início da guerra entre policiais e traficantes. Na quinta-feira (21), muitos colégios municipais e creches estavam fechados por causa do tiroteio.
Os confrontos na região já deixaram 64 pessoas feridas e 25 mortos. Os tiroteios não têm hora nem lugar para acontecerem. O espaço da educação também é atingido pelas balas perdidas. Segundo os moradores, é comum encontrar marcas de tiros de fuzil nos muros das escolas.

“Uma menina uma vez chegou aqui às 7h da manhã, chorando, porque ela disse que viu muita gente com granadas, preparados para uma batalha. Não é um ambiente pra criança vir pra escola, né?”, declarou uma professora da região, que não quis se identificar.



A comunidade diz que é comum ver pessoas armadas passando pelas ruas como se fosse normal. Segundo um educador, atrás de algumas escolas, funcionam bocas-de-fumo e os alunos são instigados a viver nesse meio.

“Os alunos ouvem ser vendida droga e começaram a imitar, começaram a pegar o giz e fazer do giz, repartir o giz, como se fosse cocaína”, disse.

Os educadores disseram ainda que é difícil mostrar os valores para as crianças porque, segundo eles, os alunos convivem muito mais tempo com o errado do que com o certo.

Perguntada sobre o futuros dos alunos, uma professora respondeu: “Eu quero sonhar. Eu quero sonhar uma vida muito melhor para eles. Eu quero meu aluno tendo o mesmo direito que outro aluno. Que o nosso filho, que o nosso neto tem, de sair, de voltar, de achar que o futuro pode ser melhor com o seu trabalho, de uma maneira normal”.

Na madrugada deste sábado (23), dois traficantes foram mortos durante uma operação realizada por agentes do 16º BPM (Olaria) na favela Vila Cruzeiro.



Segundo o comandante do Batalhão, coronel Marcus Jardim, na operação, foram apreendidos oito quilos de cocaína e uma metralhadora antiaérea.



Desde o início dos confrontos na região, no dia 2 de maio, 64 pessoas ficaram feridas. Com a morte dos dois traficantes neste sábado, o número de vítimas já chega a 25.
